I am not quite sure if FLOW is legal in advertising on international channels such as CNN during their breaks.

What I find annoying in addition to a shock is the significant increase in audio levels whenever they advertise during a commercial break by CNN or other channels.
I watch these channels to get feed from these sources, and I believe they would include any advertisements which they broadcast.

Is this a legal activity?

Masterp,
STVOs (Subscriber Television Operators) like Flow are allowed to advertise their own products on the international channels, provided they have obtained permission from that channel owner.  They cannot insert local commercials (for Jamaican products) as on regular free-to-air television but they are allowed to call your attention to their own services (eg. Info Channnel, property for sale channel etc.).

As for the increase in audio levels for these breaks, that's something that the Commission would need to investigate.
